FORGE TACKLE WARRANTY & PRODUCT CLAIMS POLICY
At FORGE TACKLE, we take pride in the quality, performance and durability of our products. Should a product develop a manufacturing defect, we are committed to providing a fair and reasonable solution in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Statutory Consumer Rights
This warranty policy does not affect any statutory rights granted to consumers under applicable national or European Union legislation.
What Is Covered
FORGE TACKLE products are covered against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship that were present at the time of delivery.
Examples may include:
- Manufacturing defects in materials or components
- Faulty assembly or construction
- Defects affecting the intended functionality of the product under normal use
What Is Not Covered
The following are not considered manufacturing defects and are therefore excluded from warranty coverage:
Normal wear and tear resulting from regular use
- Cosmetic marks, scratches, scuffs, paint chips or surface wear
- UV fading, discoloration or weathering of materials
- Wear of zippers, elastic components, coatings, EVA materials, fabrics, handles, straps, buckles and other parts subject to regular use
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, impact, overloading or improper storage
- Damage caused by modifications, repairs or alterations carried out by third parties
- Damage resulting from improper maintenance, transportation or use outside the product's intended purpose
- Consumable or wear items expected to deteriorate through normal use
Minor variations in colour, finish, LED brightness or natural material characteristics do not affect product performance and are not considered defects.
Warranty Assessment
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and assessment by FORGE TACKLE.
To submit a warranty claim, customers must provide:
- Valid proof of purchase issued by FORGE TACKLE or an authorised FORGE TACKLE retailer
- Description of the issue
- Photographs or videos clearly showing the reported defect
- Any additional information reasonably requested for assessment
Claims submitted without valid proof of purchase cannot be processed and will be rejected.
FORGE TACKLE reserves the right to refuse any warranty claim where proof of purchase is unavailable, incomplete, illegible, altered, or cannot be verified.
The customer is responsible for retaining proof of purchase for the duration of the applicable warranty and claims period.
Products Purchased from Unauthorised Sources
This warranty policy applies only to products purchased directly from FORGE TACKLE or from authorised FORGE TACKLE retailers.
Products purchased through private sales, second-hand transactions, auctions, liquidation sales or unauthorised resellers are not covered under this warranty policy.
Remedies
Where a valid manufacturing defect is confirmed, FORGE TACKLE may, at its discretion:
- Repair the product
- Repair or replace the defective component
- Replace the product with the same or equivalent model
- Provide a full or partial refund where repair or replacement is not reasonable
Repair is generally considered the preferred solution where practical.
Return Shipping
Customers must not return products without prior approval.
Where inspection of a product is required, return shipping arrangements will be communicated during the claims process. Unauthorised returns may be refused.
Limitation
FORGE TACKLE shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of its products, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
