Our Continental WGC (Wide Gape Chinu) are designed to deal with the most demanding situations of our big lakes and rivers across Europe and beyond.
The Chinu pattern is probably one of the most used since the very beginning of European carp angling, it can be used for basically any kind of presentation and thank to the beaked point and in-turned eye it provides a hook-hold second to none.
Developed and produced in cooperation with Maruto Dohitomi, world leading manufacturer of fishing hooks based in Japan with more than a century of experience on the production of high quality fishing hooks.

The Continental WGC is highly versatile and can be used for bottom, balanced, or pop-up presentations, making it a go-to hook for a wide range of carp rigs.

The Chinu (Wide Gape) pattern has been a staple in European carp angling since its early days. Its wide gape, combined with a beaked point and in-turned eye, creates outstanding hook holds across virtually any rig setup.

The Continental WGC hooks are developed and produced in cooperation with Maruto Dohitomi, a world-leading fishing hook manufacturer based in Japan with more than a century of production experience. They are made in Japan.

PTFE coating reduces surface friction, allowing the hook point to penetrate quickly and cleanly on the strike. It also helps protect the hook from corrosion during prolonged use in water.

The 10° in-turned eye angles the hook point inward towards the shank, which encourages the hook to turn and set firmly in the carp's mouth on the take, improving overall hook-hold security.

Each pack of Continental WGC hooks contains 10 hooks.
