FAQ

The semi-stiff coating holds the rig's shape during the cast and on the lake bed, preventing tangles, while the supple inner core allows natural movement once a carp picks up the bait.

The Jackal is designed to suit multiple rig choices, making it a versatile option whether you prefer hinged stiff rigs, chod-style presentations, or stripped-back supple hook links.

Excellent abrasion resistance means the braid can withstand contact with gravel, rocks, zebra mussels, and other abrasive lake-bed debris without weakening, giving you confidence in snaggy or hard-bottomed swims.

Yes — like most semi-stiff coated braids, you can strip away the coating close to the hook to expose the supple core, giving the hook bait a more natural, free-moving presentation.

The Jackal is described as having superb knot strength, so you can trust your chosen knot — such as a knotless knot or palomar — to hold firm even when playing a powerful fish.
